Victory to Survivors of Stalking

President Obama, US AG Holder, Directors of the FBI, COPS, CRS, DOJ CRM DIV, DHS, USSS, Interpol, NCJRS, OJP, OIPL, OPA, CA AG BII, CA US Sen Feinstein, USIP, NCVC, CA Post Commission, CNN, LA Times, LA Associated Press, National Associated Press, International Associated Press, 60 Minutes, Canadian Press and the PPSC:

    I was lucky.

    I got away.

Organized Stalking is a very hateful, disturbing, ignored and growing crime of stalking Worldwide.

It took 10 months going thru all the proper chains of command here locally, being GREENWALLLED and STONEWALLED, writing 'Letters to America" to every commission, office and agency in our local, state and federal government (all documented and signed return receipt). Only to get another case number and telling me to try the next guy.  That it wasn't their 'jurisdiction'. I had been 'set up' by a cybercriminal to use my computer for a gateway to his cybercrimes. He or his crime ring organized a stalking campaign on me. They were breaking into my house every time I left, looking for the computer discs I had copied of what looked like illegal activity. I had audiotaped the break ins. The local law enforcement refused to investigate as well as the DA. The local FBI told me this 'only happens in the movies".  Within 6wks gang members were now stalking me. My brain finally wrapped around the word ORGANIZED. After 10 months of writing "Letters to America", I finally found one good man and police commissioner in Sacramento who had the authority to get me assistance. That was May of '07.

I ask you to research this hateful, disturbing, destructive and growing crime worldwide. If just a handful of you helped it would make a dent. If all of you did something, anything, just one thing and coordinated with yourselves, it would shut them down. Public awareness, training, resources and services in our local communities to help victims of ALL stalking crimes.

~ Victims of stalking need much more than 'tips' of a piece of paper. The need trained staff and volunteers to work with the victim and police to help record and document the stalking activity and hold stalkers accountable before damages and/or violence occur. They need 'Stalking Units' in their local police departments. Urge you local legislators, police, city and county agencies to co-ordinate with the federal level for funding.

~ As far as the "bad apples" in law enforcement, isn't it time we "BREAK THE CODE"? Long overdue police reform is desperately needed. We live in dangerous times where accountability must be a priority on every level to fight corruption. Polygraphs to be implemented as a tool for internal investigations of citizen complaints and randomly to ask if they are breaking any of the laws they are sworn to uphold. The bad apples are putting every good officers life at even greater risk by their illegal activity. And corruption on any and every level is no longer an option we can ignore. It is a World Security threat. And of course, centuries of civil and human rights abuses.

I'll Never Give Up. Never Give In. And Never, Ever, EVER go away until stalking laws are enforced, police and elected officials are held accountable, and Corruption on any and every level is the top priority in this war on Terror.

It's about Accountability. It's about Responsibility. It's about Right and Wrong. For the Good of the Collective Whole.

And it's about Time.

It starts with Us.

The real name of this war on terror, violence, unrest, poverty, injustice, human and civil rights abuses, crime, desperation, hoplessness and apathy is called 'Corruption'.

Plain and simple.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is how it always has."

Fighting corruption will be the most important thing we can do to change the world.

It only takes one good man with the vision, courage and integrity to lead by good example.

The world will follow his lead.

OR....... maybe it's time the federal level steps in and changes policies and laws for them.  In the interest of national security and centuries of human and civil rights abuses.

Body cameras, AND polygraphs with background re-investigations every 5 yrs and for internal affairs investigations.

If officers knew that these investigative tools were in place, maybe they would think twice before breaking the very laws they are sworn to uphold.

"Courage is not the absence of fear. It's standing up in the face of fear. Knowing what I do, it would be a shame to die and not try to improve the system that I represent."

~ Our good, brave, honest police officers and agents with integrity deserve not only better training and standards, but leaders that lead by good example in their agencies for their officers to follow. It is up to the management to weed out the bad apples and when one of their own breaks the law or their own code of conduct or ethics, or even a mistake, it is their superiors that have to take responsibility and hold them accountable. The lives of all law enforcement officers are in their care. As are the lives of the public. People want the Truth.

~  Bad cops lie, falsify reports, plant evidence, use excessive force, flat out lie under oath in a court of law. And never even blink.

~  And good ones sometimes feel like they have to also and break their own code of ethics and conduct to cover for the bad ones. Or otherwise be labeled a rat and face retaliation. If any officer breaks the Law, Code of Conduct or Ethics, he should not be shielded by the Police Bill of Rights.

~ What is more concerning and a national security threat, is what the bad apples do off duty, or on duty but off camera...................?

~ All Levels of Law Enforcement have for decades felt that the polygraph is a much needed and essencial part of the hiring process. Why not change Policy that Polygraphs and Psych Evals for new Hires expire every 5yrs? (Including applicants for higher ranking positions)

~ Yes, polygraphs can be beat. Yes, the are inadmissable in court. Yes, they are only as good as the examiner. But if used as a tool to weed out the bad apples, and protect the good cops, maybe they would think twice before breaking the very laws they were sworn to uphold.

"How can you climb from the crowd and the press

Up where the mighty ones sit?

What are the magical words of success?

ENERGY, spurring you forward to meet

Life and the luck she may send,

HUMOR which laughs in the face of defeat,

GRIT which fights on to the end!

ENERGY firing the heart and the brain

Thrilling each fibre with vim,

HUMOR, which keeps men sanguine and sane,

GRIT, which is dogged and grim;

These are the magical tokens no less,

These are the keys that will fit,

Into each lock of the doors of Success,

ENERGY, HUMOR and GRIT!" ~ Berton Braley
